Glass plate negatives, safety negative, and prints of life on Long Island, including agriculture, industry, the landscape, recreational activities, rural and urban life, and the Long Island Rail Road, 1897-1918. These photographs were used to promote travel to Long Island on the railroad to increase the business of local industries.
